We started our ranch in 2003 with two heifers and now have approximately 50 head. We are passionate about delivering high-quality, locally sourced beef to our customers. On average Belted Galloway beef is 46% lower in calories, 72% lower in fat calories, 68% lower in total fat, 57% lower in cholesterol, 19% higher in protein than other commercial beef. Our beef is antibiotic free, steroid free and because of the beltie breed's hardy immune system, we do not vaccinate our beef. Our beef is raised naturally on the cow and weaned stress free. Our beef is raised primarily on grass and then 60 days on grain prior to processing.
Our customers can choose beef package in 1/4 beef, 1/2 beef or whole beef. Once the beef is at the locker, the customer can call the meat processor and customize their beef packages - size of hamburger packages, thickness of steak, etc. The thermoforming process allows frozen cuts to be placed in your fridge for up to 30 days to age and also retains the nutrients in the beef. Our goal is to give the customer exactly what they want. We believe once you taste this quality beef, we will have repeat customers.
Each package includes steaks, roasts and hamburger customized to what the customer prefers Processing fees are estimated on standard cuts. Price will vary with custom cuts.

“COOKING: cooked pretty well. Nice grill marks on each side and the fat seared nicely. THICKNESS: I felt like it was a good thickness. MOISTURE: steaks were not dry at all and not laden with moisture as store-bought steaks. I was well pleased with that. TEXTURE: This steak did not have the same texture as a store-bought steak. I typically cut against the grain to make a more moist and a better bite. I chose to cut both ways to see how the meat would respond. It was similar in both directions. I thought that was interesting. FAT: The fat had an excellent flavor. TASTE: There was a good beef taste. Often we have found that meat we get from a butcher has a different taste to it. Almost gamey. These steaks had no inklings of that at all. I enjoyed the taste of these a lot. The next time I grill some of these steaks, I’m going to wet age them a little bit and probably cook the sirloins.” Tony G.
